and then

Still floating on adrenaline though some strokes of tiredness, so further on to Takeaway Festival and Futuresonic, but somehow managed to take no pictures whatsoever, and after a few days in Cambridge and the office off to Lithuania to a TEH Meeting (www.teh.net) in Vilnius and some days in Palanga on the Lithuanian coast; lots of new people at the meeting, good vibes and lots of energy in the air, and a great social gathering!

The Afterlife

So after end of April and thus Enter_Unknown Territories I escaped to the Lake District with Ina, to find a magical Gothic mansion - a vegetarian B&B that greeted us with the inscription HEED THE PAST - PREPARE FOR THE FUTURE, which we did or tried to. Lots of sheep, few people, good whisky and a magnificent volcanic scenery on Coniston's Old Man and the Great Gable and Wastwater.
Staid on sheep farms, met great people, travelled the narrowest, curvest and steepest roads, and never managed to get any further up Scotland as we had thought we would.

new haircut and easter

finally managed to spend some time on my appearance again so people abroad this is my new haircut. and then these are the beautiful easter eggs that i finally managed to colour today, easter sunday, though enthusiasm to join me for an egg hunt was rather limited across cambridge people... well well: next year! as i have promised myself; huge egg hunt wherever!
the tour is shaping up and the bus seems to be in great shape. around the black sea or through syria, jordan and egypt are the options so anyone with any travel experience along these routes please post comments. there are still places to join in, we might take a tent to have more sleeping places.

in the anglia ruskin cellar

and here we are in the cellar, blogging our way with lots of people we've never met before and we hope we'll see again at Enter_ to discover even more Unknown Territories... seeing lots of people in a small dark room desperately trying to learn new skills and not to embarass themselves en masse. Quite a nice atmosphere with a good glass of wine and Catherine next to me who now also wants a blog

Annette's vakantiemobiel!!! Which is going to transport herself, Ina and other friends through Eastern Europe and Turkey this summer. Once in Turkey we will either attempt to circle around the Black Sea or reach out towards Egypt - after some initial research on routes and (im)possibilities. The trip is likely to start in the 1st/2nd week of July. Guest slots will be available for friends to join in for parts of the journey - watch this space for more info on our trip and where we will be when so that you can join in!!
